Are you doing keyword research for articles? My friend recommended me to use the tool called ‘Syndit – Keyword Discovery Tool’. It is a very simple tool and not difficult to use. It is also my favorite because it is the fastest tool I have used.

There are 2 keyword types:
Keyword – Keywords that you are searching.
Keyword Group – Keywords can be merged and divided in many different groups.
Keyword groups can be merged in these ways:
Merging Keywords by Frequency:
More keywords = more chance of getting more traffic. The system will calculate which keywords are more competitive and important for your business.
The keywords that will be added to this group will be the keywords with more search volume.
Merging Keywords by Competition:
Keywords that are more competitive get assigned to this group. The keyword with the highest keywords in the group gets assigned to this group.
The keywords with a higher percentage will be put in this group.
Keywords that have already been removed get assigned to this group.
Keywords with a lower percentage get assigned to this group.
Keywords that are less important for your business get assigned to this group.
Merging Keywords by Volume:
The keywords that have a higher search volume get assigned to this group.
The keywords that have a low search volume get assigned to this group.
Search in the keyword groups:
The key that starts with the search string. The 2nd key is the key that is searched for, the 3rd key is the company that is searched. The 4th key is the category that is searched for and the 5th key is the product that is searched for.

How it works?
When the keyword research is done, the tool will show the frequency of the keyword (how many times the keyword is searched for in a period of time), the keywords in the same group, the number of results that are found, the keywords that are searched for by other keywords, keywords that are searched for by other keywords, and the keywords that are searched for by other keywords.
