You could go to the Control Panel and see which drive it's accessing, but that's not very pleasant, since it means you need to find your way around the Control Panel. The program you're using to open the file must have a preference option that tells it which drive it is to use, so that it knows where to look for it. Woman Pleads Guilty To Identity Theft A Plummer woman pleaded guilty on Monday to identity theft in connection with a case involving a theft of credit cards, court records show. Christina Mae Mason, 29, of 710 Idaho Street, was charged on Jan. 11, 2014, with identity theft. According to a probable cause affidavit, Mason was arrested on Jan. 9, 2014, on a charge of unlawful use of a credit card. Mason gave a false name to police when arrested, the affidavit says. She told police she had been using the victim's credit card since Oct. 8, 2013, until she lost it in a divorce settlement between the two, the affidavit says. Mason told police she used the card repeatedly in San Francisco, Oakland and Denver, the affidavit says. She also made charges in Virginia, Ohio and in the Plummer area, the affidavit says. During the investigation, the victim learned about the charges made in Plummer, the affidavit says. She discovered Mason had made purchases in August 2013, at the Sandhills Financial Credit Union on St. Louis Avenue. She also discovered that Mason made a purchase at the Regional Graphics Center on May 26, 2013, the affidavit says. The victim also learned that Mason had listed an address for her son on the Colorado DMV form she was using to get a driver's license and then was using the victim's mother's name, the affidavit says. Mason was placed on deferred sentencing, the charges would be dismissed if she successfully completes deferred sentencing. She was ordered to return for sentencing on April 16.
